This post came up in mind when I realized the time pass so quickly & when people ask me what exactly I do….
What I am doing I am a programmer and designer without proper job (in office)
Beep… no time? Come on….
As I prefer to work in office I am checking quite often the job advertisement sites for any new opportunity that fits with my skills. New application for job means new cover letter. I would to be precise and accurate to the people I am referring to. However Greek crisis is still here! Hooray Anther bug that we must fix. I have to find new opportunities to solve this problem at least temporarily. Freelance coding, site translation, subtitling and working as receptionist for a few days this summer… No bad… the best thing when you are working as a freelancer is that you can work from any place so I took my laptop as I had a deadline to meet and I went to Folegandros island Greece and finished my duties from there.
Always I will keep my mind open for any new challenges and opportunities….
Social media… Easy thing? Beep… I love twitter and I keep an account on LinkedIn… oh yes these two are enough for me. On socialmediaday.gr one-day conference ,took place few days ago, they mentioned that you must have so many social media accounts as you can handle… I have accounts on other social media. I have to be informed how they work; it is a part of my work. Not only as a communication tool but also as a business tool, which is the most proper social media for my customers’ websites …Twitter, Facebook etc plugins. However I only use twitter & LinkedIn for my personal & professional communication.
What I learn this time is when you Love what you do, you do it well!.
If you are well organized and concentrate on your own dreams, you can survive in this demanding and competitive world. I know that I am detail-oriented, keen and hard working with communication skills to relate well to people. Self-motivated and able to work independently make well thought out decisions, prioritize and work to deadlines under pressure. ☺ and this is a not a typical line of my cover letter.
Yes working as a freelancer or being unemployed is the most time-consuming “job”..
Happy November ☺
P.S Yesterday I have heart on TV news this we are 7 week away from Christmas… Beep…. No bad
