International Days……

I have to admit that I love international days…

We celebrate our birthdays.

OK then so why not… human rights, music, woman, mothers, and all other days,

Give us, mostly the opportunity to think, talk, & act about a goal…..It is not only for celebration but it is time to wonder what we can do to change this world and make it a safer place for all of us.

Today, I would like to wish you!

Happy Spring day…

Happy World Poetry Day

Happy International Day of Forests

Happy International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination

Happy International Color Day ☺ ☺ ☺

How we can achieve our best if we are not happy……

How often do we celebrate happiness?

Find the one you love, the job you love, love what you do… Do the things you love….etc., how many times have we heard these expressions…

Happiness is the key to success in your life Isn’t it?

However, the right to happiness (well-being) does not exist in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. If it existed, the policies would take it under consideration and there would be a brighter present and future for all European citizens.
Yesterday, it was the International Day of Happiness, declared by the United Nations, so I strongly believe that it is the time to understand the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world and the importance of their recognition in public policy objectives.

If governments would accept that all people deserve to be happy then they could address their problems.

Last but not least… I would like to ask you to take a look at the following link.

Declaration of the right of happiness in the European Union

This website facilitates the collection of the necessary number of signatures with the aim to introduce the subject at the European Parliament and to ultimately achieve a more humanistic orientation of the European Union

because…

There has been accumulating evidence that in almost all European Union countries (including Greece) over 60% of people declare that they do not feel happy or very satisfied with life. The predominant philosophy in the European Union aims at the prosperity of economic figures, favoring policies that cause misery to many European citizens. The right to happiness (well-being) is non-existing in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, while if it existed there would be a brighter present and future for all European citizens.

I would like to discuss this further with you.

It’s wonderful that you always remind us what we celebrate each day.
I never pay attention and often forget when I know.

Thank you, Maria mou, for finding ways to make me aware.

    Wonderful post!
Yes, everyone has the right to be happy.
Unfortunately, those in power don’t see it!

    Blessings of joy!

I hope that this initiative takes off. I wonder if there is something like this in the US too. Let me take a look, vote and happy to share too.
    Thanks for this, Maria :))

      Thank you,
If we accept that happiness is a fundamental right for all people. The world is going to become a better place for all of us….
